Throughout the South, no matter the size of the town, or the demographic, there is a propensity to place "out to pasture" our various former modes of transportation. Is it all the land we have around us? Drive on any back road of a southern state and you will see the history of American transportation in fields of weeds, some just sitting, some serving a purpose. These will be the relics of our ancient civilization many years from now. Go figure!

ReplyDeleteIts a beautiful bike. There are items that you can really feel the history of. And this is one of those. You can picture in your head all the people that must have ridden that bike in it's time.
